There are a few dozen people out there who possess my DNA.

Version I of the project
I designed this project so that I could engage with people directly, on the street, over questions I have about public spaces, bodies, our microbiomes, and βwasteβ. I set up a booth with my own DNA samples and a descriptive sign and waited for people to talk to me.
It is rare to be able to contribute to and control the conversation that happens about my body in public. This performance project allows me to do so while offering people a part of myself - a generous and vulnerable conversation starter.
More information is available on my blog.
